Internationals welcome!

We are particularly proud of our strong welcome culture at the University of Cologne. We have established an International Faculty Program, which attracts high-caliber international academics to Cologne. On top of our strong research and teaching network with over 500 cooperation partners in the international landscape of higher education, we have opened three liaison offices in Bejing, New Delhi and New York City to provide a first point of contact for you. Our Welcome Center for international scholars in Cologne provides you with a wide range of services and support. Our guest scholars get help for planning their stay in Cologne and for dealing with administrative issues and the practicalities of living in a foreign city (e.g. accommodation, childcare, schools). Our Dual Career & Family Support offers a broad range of support for the professional integration of your spouse and the social integration (e.g. childcare) of the whole family.

On this page you will find information on how to start working with us, where to learn German and whom to contact for any matter regarding your career at UoC. Our job offers can be found here.
