NEU: DaF-Sprachlernberatung

Ab dem Wintersemester 2019/20 bietet der Lehrbereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache eine Sprachlernberatung für internationale Studierende und Geflüchtete an.

Nutzen Sie die individuelle Beratung, wenn Sie

  • Lernschwierigkeiten haben und Unterstützung bei der Klärung bestehender Probleme benötigen,
  • zum autonomen Fremdsprachenlernen angeregt werden wollen und Unterstützung dabei benötigen,
  • individuelle Lernziele und -strategien finden möchten und Hinweise für geeignete Methoden, Strategien und Ressourcen benötigen,
  • über Ihren Lernprozess nachdenken, Lernblockaden überwinden und Ihre Lernkompetenzen ausbauen wollen.

Die Sprachlernberatung für internationale Studierende wird von Jörg Schulze durchgeführt. Sie findet im Wintersemester ab dem 23.10.2019 jeden Mittwoch von 15 bis 16:30 Uhr im Service Point des International Office statt.

Die Sprachlernberatung für Geflüchtete wird von Dr. Mazlume Demirci durchgeführt. Sie findet im Wintersemester ab dem 24.10.2019 jeden Donnerstag von 14 bis 16 Uhr im Service Point des International Office statt.

 

Counselling hours at the Department German as a Foreign Language

  • Tuesday 10 am - 12 pm
  • Thursday 12 pm - 2 pm

Please note: Due to construction works the counselling hours are now held at the International Office Service Point.

 

Responsibilities of the department "German as a Foreign Language"

The primary task of the department "German as a Foreign Language" consists in providing foreign applicants and students with the adequate knowledge of the German language necessary for studying at a German university. It therefore evaluates the participants' level of German and organizes the following courses:

a) Preparatory German language courses - preparing for the German language examination (TestDaF or DSH)
b) Courses for ERASMUS-students, exchange students from our partner universities, and visiting scientists
c) Complementary courses
d) PostDSH courses
e) Special courses

In addition, the department "German as a Foreign Language" is in charge of organizing

a) the International Cologne Summer Language Courses in German Language and Culture
b) the International Cologne Winter Language Courses in German Language and Culture
