For all China-NRW Alliance summer schools the deadline is February 28, 2016.

Your application should consist of a CV with detailed information on your course of studies and a letter of motivation (both in English and one page maximum each). Please also describe your expectations towards cultural activities and possible sights and/or monuments. In case you would like to use the internship service, please explicitly describe your interests and the area you would like to do your internship in.

No, you do not have to speak any Chinese or Hindi. Learning the language and getting to know the culture are essential parts of the summer school. There will be beginners classes in Chinese and Hindi and an advanced class for learners of Chinese with basic vocabulary.

Yes, a certification of participation will be given to you after successful completion of the program. Additionally, you will receive a language certificate after taking the summer school's final language exam.

The costs of the various summer schools vary according to country, city, and duration. Please see our brochure for more detailed information. 

We are sorry but if you study at a university that is not part of the China-NRW Alliance, your application will not be considered.
