Meeting of the Directorates Cologne, Leuven and Nijmegen

09.02.2017. The rector and the vice-rector for International Affairs of the University of Cologne met the directorates of the University of Cologne's Global Network Partner universities  KU Leuven (BE) and the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (NL). Part of the meeting were Prof. Dr. Rik Torfs (Rector at KU Leuven), Prof. Dr. Danny Pieters (Vice-Rector International Policy at KU Leuven) und Prof. Dr. J.H.J.M. van Krieken (Rector at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen). Their discussion aimed at intensifying collaboration on a bilateral and trilateral level.

With the „Global Network Partneruniversities“ the University of Cologne is developing a comprehensive and intensive form of cooperation in research and teaching: university-wide, establishing innnovative structures and oriented towards institutional sustainability. Exchange activities cover all levels: research and teaching, students and faculty, staff. They are strategically focussed on enduring cooperation. Apart from the University of Cologne, the KU Leuven, and the Radboud University Nijmegen the international network of the GNP comprises the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA, the University of Cape Town, South Africa, the Keio University, Tokyo/Japan, the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, and the Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou/China.
